In our gluttonous society full of consumerism, it is easy to see how junk food could be viewed in a God-like way. This is a theme which German photographer Rebecca Rütten has taken as the basis for her project, “Contemporary Pieces,” wherein she composes and lights her very modern subjects in the style of the Old Masters.
