Jesus Christ is quoted saying many amazing things in the Bible. One of them is: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” From MATTHEW/18:3. Turkish photographer Yonca Karakas has chosen to interpret this in a series of visually breathtaking fashion images. She uses colour smartly in order to create meaning: her insistence on pastel pink and blue create in the viewer’s head an image of childhood. Full of whimsically flourishes, they are an absolute delight.
