Aren’t these startling images? They were made without the use of any digital effects. “Rek” (stretch in Dutch) by photographer Juuke Schoorl is all about analysing the aesthetic possibilities of the human body, particularly its skin. The project aims to highlight the many complexities of our outer layer, ones which we often take for granted.
