Looking to 17th century painting for inspiration, Taiwanese visual artist Chen Dao Lee puts his own unique and modern stamp on this source material. Much of this is derived from the colours he uses in his work, paradise pink and electric blue, and from the subjects that he chooses to paint. These include bloated fanboys and boxing girls in bikinis.
