As we view a man gripping a handful of black balloons sailing upwards into a clear blue sky, we are whisked off into another world, one defined by whimsy and magic. Dotted throughout with surreal flourishes, the photographer Gente Bastarda knows how to instill visual trickery in order to spirit us away.
