Being homeless is something very few of us can really grasp or comment about, but photographer Lee Jeffries connects with men on the streets, getting to know them before actually taking their portrait shot. There is a magnetic and spiritual aura in most of the pictures, and Jeffries is able to capture strength and emotion in each expression and stare—he elevates these men to a powerful art status.
