Tattoos: Pointillism and Spray Paint Drips

I’m noticing a technical progression in the way tattoos are being inked nowadays. There are artists who are able to mimic other art techniques and styles, an example is Jef Palumbo, who replicates marker drawings and spray painting. He uses different types of shading and textures, and I especially like his addition of pointillism in some of his designs.
