A Painting of Salt and Pepper Shakers

Hyperrealist painting by Jason de Graaf (1)

Over time, I have featured a good number of hyperrealist artists like Ran Ortner, Paul Cadden, and more. Painter Jason de Graaf is another great addition to the list. Although his work is photo-realist, he states that his goal is: “not to reproduce or document faithfully what I see one hundred percent, but also to create the illusion of depth and sense of presence not found in photographs.” [1]
