The Playroom

Anamorphic art installation by Joerg Mandernach (1)

Artist Joerg Mandernach uses tape and the anamorphic technique to bring to life his “Drawing Rooms.” Both 2D and 3D images can be viewed in one unified design, if, the spectator is positioned in the right angle of the room. Mandernach intends to create a type of “interactive game” for viewers by allowing them to see the drawings appear and disappear, as they walk around.
