Images Printed on Elastics

Art by Hong Sung Chul (4)

It is definitely a unique idea printing images on elastic strings. Hong Sungchul’s current body of work is a “a visual representation of what ties humans together from the earliest stage of life—the umbilical chord. These strings (…) are staggered in his works and interlace to reveal a final representation—one of support or loneliness.” [1]
