“The Ghost: A Novel” by Robert Harris

“The Ghost,” fictionalising the process of re-ghost-writing ex-UK Prime Minister Adam Lang’s autobiography, was released just months after Tony Blair’s 2007 parliamentary resignation. Critics suggested the narrative bore libellous resemblance to the political arc of one Tony Blair. There were fears of litigation from the day of the release but nothing happened so, as it’s now outside the generous window for a libel claim, let’s explore what this novel’s got to say.
