The New York Times publishes very interesting article about Google’s invitation to a dozens of prominent artists to feature their work in new Web browser, “Chrome.” The point of this publication is that Google is not monetarily compensating the artists, instead they’re giving exposure (e.g. website rank improvement and viewer hits). Kind of strange, considering this is a million dollar making company, which actually could afford a contest or two.
