French artist Mademoiselle Maurice has created outdoor works of art using hundreds of origami roses, windmills, and more. Her work is a tribute to Sadako Sasaki who is “remembered through the story of attempting to fold a thousand origami cranes before her death, and is to this day is a symbol of innocent victims of war.” [1]
